How does it work?

Each person calls into a conference line number on the designated day and time. The huddles are held monthly and are scheduled on set days (e.g. second Thursday of every month). There is a facilitator, and potential topics are solicited in advance, but we are never tied to agendas and many times allow the group to shape the content as each call progresses.

There are three primary benefits in joining a 60 Minute Huddle℠:

• Build a professional network of peers at progressive firms from across the country.
• Improve your networking and communication skills
• Obtain new ideas

Learn what has and has not worked at other firms and what direction similar firms are taking on current issues facing your profession, such as implementing new standards or facing the challenge of managing Generation Y in the workplace.

A secondary benefit is you'll have three or four other individuals you can contact outside of the monthly calls to solicit input, obtain feedback or use as a sounding board for things that come up between calls

The Biggest Key to Creating Good Huddle:

You - The participants! This is first and foremost the most important aspect. Having a small group of great professionals makes the huddles easy and a lot of fun. We spend a lot of time in recruiting the five professionals for each new group, ensuring the work they do is similar and the size and geographic area of their firms is not incompatible. Your fellow participants will be from around the country, not across town.
